Moving can be a very stressful process. Here are some helpful tips found useful in our experiences. Included on this page you will learn boxing, what is safe in the moving truck, and the processes in making sure everything is ready to make your upcoming move smooth. Moore Moving does offer packing services to help with the moving process. 

Boxing items is a very safe and effective way to ensure items are loaded and transported safely. Use sturdy and similar size boxes for a smooth moving process. Pack boxes full and with plenty of packing paper and bubble wrap to ensure items are secured. Moore Moving also has boxes available for purchase. 

Electronic devices are typically safest transported in their original packaging. If the original packaging is not available, transporting by vehicle would be safest. Large TVs may be transported in the moving truck if discussed with our movers.   

Dressers may be left full of clothing. We do ask any valuable items or anything breakable to be removed. Some dressers do require to be tilted on end to maneuver through doorways or tight corners. Furniture may also be a intimating task. Moore Moving trains our movers to disassemble and reassemble bedroom furniture, new furniture out of boxes, and can help with appliances. Sleep number beds are a specialty item Moore Moving knows very well.

Miscellaneous items can be a very overwhelming task in the moving process. Small lamps, small electronics such as gaming consoles, sound bars, small appliances can sometimes be tricky to move. We do prefer these items to be boxed; however, we understand these can be complicated. Garage items can also fall into this category, we can move these items, we just like to make aware that this is a time-consuming task. The better prepared these items are, the smoother the moving process goes. 

Gasoline and flammable items are NOT allowed to be transported in the moving truck. 

Moore Moving wants to ensure we are here to help with all areas of the moving process. From our beginning contact point to the ending of the moving process, we want to make sure it is completed correctly. Steps we take during the move is doing walkthroughs when we arrive, finish the load, and when the unload is complete. This helps ensure that nothing is left out of place or forgotten.
